Fee Fee's Family Day Care

I am the teacher and operator of Fee Fee's Family Day Care in Bangor, located in the Sutherland Shire, NSW. With a Degree in Early Childhood Education, I have been working in the family day care sector for 22 years, following my experience as a teacher in long day care centres. My service offers large indoor and outdoor learning environments where I foster child-focused, evolving learning experiences rooted in nature-based play. I strongly believe children thrive through self-directed exploration, following their interests. Drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach, I uphold the rights of the child, emphasising their right to be active participants in their learning journey. We also engage with the local community, visiting our nearby council park weekly to extend learning into natural spaces. As a committed and continuous learner, I strive to further enhance the experiences I offer, ensuring children remain the focus, in line with Inner West Council's philosophy.
