Amigos Family Day Care

Meet Lourdes, known as Lulu. With over 20 years of experience caring for children, Lulu brings warmth, knowledge and a passion for early learning to every day. She has studied early childhood education in both Mexico and Australia and was proud to be named the Regional Educator of the Year in 2019.
At Amigos Family Day Care, Lulu creates a safe, caring space where children feel at home. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, she encourages learning through play, creativity, and connection with nature. Lulu uses natural and recycled materials and believes in looking after both children and the planet.
Lulu welcomes families who value a personal, nurturing environment where children are supported in their journey of Belonging, Being and Becoming, in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). She also enjoys being part of the community and regularly attends the Foster Street play sessions in Leichhardt.
